This work chose me
as much as I chose it.
Long before I had a name for what I was doing, I was already doing it. Listening. Sitting with people in difficult moments. Trying to help someone feel less alone in what they were carrying.
My journey into counselling began with a simple belief: that every person deserves to be truly heard. Throughout my life, I have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals and families during times of hardship, uncertainty, and change. Again and again, I saw the difference it made when someone felt genuinely heard and understood.
That experience shaped the counsellor I am today. My approach is grounded in the belief that meaningful change often begins with a safe, supportive relationship where you can speak openly about what matters most.
People do not come to therapy because they are broken. They come because they are carrying something too heavy to carry alone, and they are brave enough to ask for help.
I founded The Bridge Counselling in Singapore to offer professional, compassionate, and affordable mental health support for individuals and couples. It is envisioned as a place where therapy feels human, grounded, and accessible. We aim to help you feel seen, heard, and understood from the very first conversation. From there, we work on what matters most to you, so that the changes you make are real and lasting.
